Dear all
It was nice to see you at the meeting. I think it's great there are so many active fellows around Zurich.
I had previously announced a provisional date for the next meeting: "Zurich Fellowship meeting 2008-08-15 There will be a Fellowship meeting at the FSFE Zurich office from 18:00 until 19:30 on Friday the 15th of August. Some free (as in beer) beer will be provided and all Fellows nearby are invited to attend. It will be a good chance to get to know each other in person, to discuss ways of spreading the word about Free Software in Switzerland, and to generally have a good time. This meeting will be hosted by Shane Coughlan, the coordinator of FSFE's legal activities. However, he promises not to talk about licences unless someone asks. If you are coming to the meeting please let Shane know by sending an email to coughlan@fsfeurope.org."
However, I have noticed that there is also an event taking place nearby on the 14th from the local Ubuntu group, which are now changing into a general Free Software discussion group: http://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=mvi52peretndc9kfop58vse7cg%40group....
Perhaps it would make sense to attend their meeting?
Regards
Shane

What does everyone else think? I believe we've only heard two voices apart from Ben and I so far. Come on guys. It's your Fellowship ;)

omg. not viewable by lynx - or konqueror, for that matter. where has readable text gone? so many bytes, so little infoemation. :-(
Perhaps it would make sense to attend their meeting?
it sure would make sense to do so, imho. it would even maybe make sense to try to have one meeting instead of two; not all of us are zurich based.

good afternoon ;-)
i think the twoo meetings have different goals, so i would say lets have both and those with enough time could go to both.
the ubuntu-stamm is at 18h what is early anyway, and if i understand that correct, that event is more focussed on hands-on linux-things, the fsfe-meeting is more focussed on the political track, as i understand that, and the fsfe-meeting is the 2nd in a state of developing an fsfe-group, i think it would be helpfull to discuss on the topics of how to act and organise things and where to set mean points of work, so that ~ meeting is usefull fir us. later on more of the fsfe-discussions could become virtualised.
regards andreas

Hi everyone
I gather that the overall consensus is that we'll go ahead with the Fellowship meeting at the FSFE offices on the 15th!
I'll see you there.
