Ralf, Urs, Giammi und ich haben am Samstag einen Linux Vortrag für die Informatiktage an der EB gehalten. Da es bis zum nächsten Treffen noch etwas geht, wollte ich meine Gedanken/Verbesserungsvorschläge schnell auf der Liste sharen:
1.) Was lief super - Wir hatten ein bunt gemischtes Publikum aus Personen, welche schon Linux verwenden oder nur mal davon gehört haben. Generell waren die Personen sehr interessiert und sind auch für zukünftige Sachen offen. Da müssen wir unbedingt (!) anknüpfen - Konzepte durch Analogien vermitteln (Hammer für die 4 Freiheiten und Auto für Linux/GNU Linux/Desktop Environment/Distro) -> Wenn möglich als Grafik visualisieren
2.) Wo wir uns verbessern können - Generell hat sich wieder die Frage gestellt: Freie Software oder GNU/Linux: Brauchen wir eine wirklich freie Distro oder empfehlen wir etwas anwenderfreundliches? Im Vorfeld hat es einiges an Arbeit gebraucht, Trisquel zum laufen zu bringen und das kam bei der EB von dem was ich vernommen habe nicht sehr gut an - Mit der Wahl kommt die Qual: Wir sollten uns meiner Meinung nach auf einige wenige dafür starke Applikationen fokusieren (z.B. nur Libre Office und WPS Office), nur die gängigen Browser etc. Dazu die Toolpage zusammenfassen oder weglassen, da dort einige Personen überfordert waren - Keine proprietären Applikationen mehr oder diese explizit nennen/labeln (so ist beispielsweise WPS Office auch proprietär) - Papier-Handout mit Kontaktmöglichkeiten. Dazu gehört eben vielleicht auch eine Art Landing Page (Das möchte ich wirklich nochmals gerne diskutieren), sodass man die Leute auch binden kann - Ich hätte noch einen früheren Zug kommen müssen, da der frühe Zug ausfiel und ich so wirklich 5 Minuten vor begin ankam
