Hallo zusammen,
ich hoffe auf euer Feedback zum Einsatz von SAP auf Linuxsystemen und speziell zur Kopplung von SAP mit einem Offenen Office.
Auf die Anfragen der Dortmunder Bezirksvertretungen nach Offenen Standards [1] hat das Dortmunder Systemhaus wie folgt geantwortet [2]:
"Die Firma SAP unterstützt ausdrücklich in seiner Office-Integration OpenOffice und auch LibreOffice nicht mehr, sondern nur noch Microsoft Office. Als Folge dieser Anbieterausrichtung käme lediglich eine Mischumgebung aus LibreOffice / OpenOffice sowie Microsoft Office in Frage. Arbeitsplätze, die nicht an Fachverfahren angebunden sind oder aus anderen Gründen nicht zwingend Microsoft Office benötigen, würden dann mit LibreOffice / OpenOffice ausgestattet."
Wir von der Bürgerinitiative Do-FOSS [3] suchen nun einen Umgang mit SAP für unsere freien-Software-Bestrebungen für die Stadt Dortmund. Vielleicht habt ihr ja den einen oder anderen Tipp...

Moin Christian,
ich kann das nicht verifizieren, aber zumindest mit älteren SAP-Versionen sollte folgendes funktionieren:

Ob es ansonsten noch die Möglichkeit gibt, den Namen des externen Executables zu konfigurieren (und dann Calc statt Excel mit ooxml zu füllen) kann ich nicht sagen, es wurde mir aber mal davon erzählt.
Und wenn das alles auch nichts hilft, kam gestern grade rein:

Werden denn die SAP-Anwendungen direkt auf den Maschinen ausgeführt oder per RDP auf einem Terminalserver?
Microsoft fordert allerdings selbst dann eventuell noch "CAL"s, also Client-Access-Lizenzen für die Benutzung von MS Office.
