Hallo,
am vergangenen Wochenende fand der Nordrhein-Westfalen-Tag 2016 in Düsseldorf statt. Gefeiert wurde auch, dass Nordrhein-Westfalen 70 Jahre alt geworden ist, und natürlich zugleich, dass Düsseldorf seit 70 Jahren Landeshauptstadt ist.
Zu diesem Anlass öffnete sich auch der Landtag dem allgemeinen Publikum und wurde Teil dieses Events.
Dies nutzten vier Freunde Freier Software (darunter zwei Freundinnen), um dem Landtag einen Besuch zwecks Lobbying abzustatten.
Wir trafen uns um 12:00 Uhr an einem der bedeutendsten Orte vor dem Landtag, nämlich in der Raucherecke bei den Fahrradständern, Dieser Ort kann wohl in seiner kommunikativen Bedeutung nicht überschätzt werden.
Rainer hatte den Landtag schon erkundet und führte die kleine Schar zunächst in den klimatisierten und damit kühlen Fraktionssaal der Grünen. Dort konnte man Wünsche für NRW auf Sonnenblumen notieren, die dann dem Publikum präsentiert wurden. Der Chronist schrieb: "Freie Software, Offene Daten, OER", worauf die Dame, die ihn hierzu animiert hatte, meinte, das würde Matthi Bolte, der auch schon bei unserem Fellowshiptreffen einen Vortrag gehalten hatte [0], freuen, worauf der Chronist bat, ihn zu grüßen. Dem schloss sich noch ein kurzes Gespräch mit einer Landtagsabgeordneten dieser Fraktion an, dann ging es weiter.
Bei der SPD besichtigten wir zunächst eindrucksvolle Kunst, dann ging es weiter zu den Piraten. Diese boten nicht nur Popcorn und alkoholfreie Cocktails, sondern vor allem auch eine schattige Terrasse direkt am Rhein. Hier dauerten die Gespräche naturgemäß etwas länger, vor allem mit dem Landtagsabgeordneten, der auch Fellow ist.
Natürlich vergaßen wir auch nicht, unsere Gratulationen an den neuen Bundesvorsitzenden dieser Partei auf den Weg zu bringen, der ebenfalls schon vor der Düsseldorfer Fellowship gesprochen hatte [1].
Der Chronist begab sich dann noch einmal auf die Suche nach weiteren Gesprächspartnern. Fündig wurde er dann bei der SPD. Dort traf er auf einen älteren Landtagsabgeordneten, der sich mit Innenpolitik befasst, was dem Chronisten passend erschien.
Es stellte sich dann heraus, dass dieser auf dem heimischen Rechner Freie Software einsetzt, nämlich Ubuntu. Er kannte auch Verschlüsselung, konnte aber noch vom Chronisten dahingehend aufgeklärt werden, dass GnuPG sozusagen "Made in NRW" ist, weil Werners Unternehmen im nahen Erkrath sitzt.
Der Chronist rannte mit seinen Anliegen bei diesem Volksvertreter "offene Türen ein". Es konnte eine große Übereinstimmung in wesentlichen Punkten festgestellt werden. Dieser brachte den Chronisten dann noch mit einem Mitarbeiter der Fraktion in Kontakt, mit dem dann auch noch ein kurzes Gespräch geführt wurde.
Bei CDU und FDP fanden sich leider keine Gesprächspartner, denen wir unser Anliegen hätten nahebringen können.
Auf dem Rückweg sahen wir noch an einem Stand des ADFC eine uns bekannte Düsseldorfer Lokalpolitikerin, die wir auch noch kurz grüßten.
Insgesamt war es also eine Mission, mit deren Ergebnissen man durchaus zufrieden sein konnte. Lobbyarbeit ist halt das Bohren dicker Bretter und bedarf einer gewissen Geduld und Kontinuität, um nachhaltig zu wirken.
Und die Hin- und Rückfahrt mit den "Oldtimern" der Rheinbahn war dann auch noch ein besonderes Vergnügen.
