am Software Freedom Day werden seit 2004 jedes Jahr die Erfolge Freier Software gefeiert. Aus einer ersten Idee, umgesetzt von einer kleinen Gruppe von Enthusiasten, die die Dachorganisation Software Freedom International (SFI) (heute Digital Freedom Foundation) gründeten, wurde ein weltweit begangener Tag. Freunde freier Software bilden Arbeitsgruppen und organisieren ehrenamtlich Veranstaltungen, um Leistungsfähigkeit und Erfolge freier Software einer breiteren Öffentlichkeit vorzustellen.
Auch in Köln findet am
Samstag, den 15. September 2018, von 10:00 bis 17:00 Uhr
in der
Dingfabrik, Fritz-Voigt-Str. 1, 50823 Köln,
zu diesem Anlass auch in diesem Jahre wieder eine Veranstalung [0] statt.
Für die Organisation des Software Freedom Day in Köln ist seit vielen Jahren der Computerclub Pascal (CCP) e.V. verantwortlich, eine kleine, aber langlebige und nachhaltig wirkende Gruppe von Enthusiasten und Aktivisten.
Jeder Interessierte – egal ob neu, fortgeschritten und/oder Mitglied einer User-Gruppe oder nicht – ist eingeladen, zu kommen.
