Anlässlich der Bundestagswahl am 27. September ruft die Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) dazu auf, Kandidaten und Abgeordnete zu ihrer Meinung über freie Software und deren Einsatz in der öffentlichen Verwaltung zu befragen. Als Plattform sollen Interessierte die Plattform Abgeordnetenwatch nutzen und die Stimmen von Kandidaten und Abgeordneten des eigenen Wahlkreises sammeln. Anzeige
Für die Fragen und Antworten hat die FSFE eine Wiki-Seite erstellt, die bereits einige ältere Statements von Politikern zum Thema freie Software enthält. Die Aktion soll zum einen das Thema Freie Software im Wahlkampf präsent machen und zum anderen mit der Antwortensammlung der Kandidaten eine Eintscheidungshilfe für die Wähler sein. (amu/c't)
