nachdem das Handelsblatt im Allgemeinen recht fair und sachlich berichtet hat, kommt mir bei diesem Artikel das blanke Grauen:

Die schlimmsten Passagen: "Die "Open source"-Anhänger wollen verhindern, dass die Großen der Branche wie Microsoft, Alcatel, Nokia und Siemens künftig patentrechtliche Monopole für ihre Produkte erhalten." "Patente seien ja schließlich auch ein Schutzinstrument zu Gunsten der Kleinen gegen die Riesen der Branche." (indirektes Zitat Lehne) "Gesteuert wird der Kampf um die Patentierbarkeit computergestützter Erfindungen von jener Bewegung, die sich der freien Software verschrieben hat."
Es handelt sich bei allen drei Zitaten um nachweisbare Lügen (Zitate 2 und 3) oder zumindest grob fahrlässige Fehldarstellung (Zitat 1), nicht um diskutable Meinungen.
Zu Wort im Artikel kommen Lehne und Würmeling, zwei absolute Pro-SWPAT-Leute. Der Redakteur, der diesen Artikel geschrieben hat, lässt das Handelsblatt wie ein Propagandabordell aussehen. Eigentlich schade.

Ich habe dazu einen Brief an die Chefredakteure auf pr-de@ entworfen....
Wuerde mich freuen, Deine Meinung dazu zu hoeren.

Ich finde folgende Passagen sogar noch bemerkenswerter:
: "Was wir hier erleben, ist der beispielloseste Lobby-Krieg in der : Geschichte der europäischen Institutionen", sagt Wuermeling.
Da kann es wohl jemand nicht vertragen, einmal nicht allein beim Lobbying zu sein. Wirklich zu dumm, dass es darauf kein Patent gibt. ;-) Aber es muss ja auch schwer zu verkraften sein, wenn die Gegenseite mit einem Bruchteil des Etats offenbar die größere Wirkung erzielt, und noch dazu ohne Lügen auskommt ...
: Dann schlägt der Schreiber verbal unter die Gürtellinie: "Zeigen Sie : uns, dass Sie nicht korrupt sind, nicht nach der Pfeife der Konzerne : tanzen."
Was soll daran jetzt unter der Gürtellinie sein, selbst abgesehen vom Einzelfall? Dass es korrupte Politiker gibt, bestreitet wohl niemand, und von seinem Abgeordneten zu verlangen, dass er nicht korrupt ist, ist wohl das Mindeste, was man in einer Demokratie tun sollte. Ach ja, in einer Demokratie ...
: Die Wortführer der Gegenseite hatten dieser Offensive bislang wenig : entgegenzusetzen. "Die Industrie hat das Thema Softwarepatente lange : Zeit verschlafen", räumt ein führender Lobbyist des BDI ein.
Oh je, was kann man dazu noch sagen?
Ja ja, schon schlimm, wie diese Open-Source-Hippie-Kommunisten mit ihrem mächtigen Lobby-Apparat diese Anti-Softwarepatent-Richtlinie eingebracht und dann jahrelang versucht haben, sie mit teilweise illegalen Mitteln heimlich durchzuwinken, ohne der macht- und mittellosen Großindustrie auch nur Gelegenheit zu geben, sich dazu zu äußern. Oder wie war das noch gleich ...
