Hallo Liste,
Kann jemand einen OS Client-Server Passwortmanager empfehlen? Eigentlich komm ich mit KeePass [1] gut klar, nur manchmal habe ich das Gerät, auf dem Keepass installiert ist, nicht zur Hand, wenn ich das Passwort brauche. Eine webbasierte Anwendung, die ich auf meinem Server installieren kann, wäre da besser denke ich. Hat jemand Erfahrungen mit einer der verfügbaren Lösungen und kann eine empfehlen?

Weiß nicht worauf du ansprichst, aber da, anders als bei allen anderen hier genannten Möglichkeiten, keine Passwörter gespeichert werden, sondern jedes mal neu generiert werden, ist die Datensparsamkeit höher.
Man kann es auf den eigenen Web-Server einrichten, auf dem Smartphone und als Addon in Chrome oder Firefox nachrüsten. Ich nutze meist die letzte Variante, wenn ich an Fremden Geräten bin.

Die DSGVO verlangt in Artikel 32 den "Stand der Technik" einzuhalten. Stand der Technik ist nach Ansicht vom Teletrust e.V. das Beste aus Technik, Verfahren, Betriebsweisen. "Führende Experten" sollten darüber befinden.
Ich suche daher eben nicht irgendeinen Passwortmanager oä sondern ein System, mit dessen Hilfe die Unternehmen die DSGVO erfüllen können.

Hi, falls man ssh zur hand hat geht auch pass sehr gut :-)

Gleichzeitig kann man lokal dann auch wieder ne GUi benutzen oder die password files mit unison auf den laptop syncen, etc.

Hi,
Keepassxc (ein fork von keepassx) kann auch Passwörter auf der Cli ausgeben. Vorausgesetzt ist hier auch das SSH funktioniert.
Man kann mit ssh natürlich auch die Datei runterladen und die lokale keepassxc Installation verwenden, sofern das möglich ist.
Keepassxc kann auch Dateien zusammenführen (mergen).

Schau dir doch mal Pass an. Das ist ein Passwort-Manager der auf GPG und Git basiert. Primär wird der über die Kommandozeile genutzt.

Hi,
Pass hab ich gestern versucht zum Laufen zu bekommen, mit einem mit gpg generierten Key gabs einen komischen Fehler, mit einem gpg2 generierten Key einen anderen komischen Fehler. Ich probiers mal mit keepassxc, welches hier auch erwähnt wurde, ich glaub das klingt vielversprechend.

Keepass gibt es auch als portable Version, die direkt vom Stick läuft (für Windows)[1]. Für MacOS kann man es eh (als KeepasX oder KeepasXC [2]) direkt von einem Stick starten. Ob es eine portable Version für Linux gibt, ist mir allerdings unbekannt. Wäre aber mal eine spannende Frage, so was zu bauen.

Ich synchronisiere Keypass auf allen meinen Geräten über nextcloud. Es gibt ja auch eine Android-Version von KeePass und den nextcloud-client.
Funktioniert ohne Probleme.
