Hallo zusammen,
Die FSFE startet heute den Aufruf für einen Programmier-Wettbewerb für Jugendliche, "Youth Hacking 4 Freedom" (YH4F).
Es geht darum, junge Menschen für Freie Software zu begeistern. Teenager aus ganz Europa können am Wettbewerb teilnehmen, Spaß und Fairness stehen dabei an oberster Stelle.
So läuft das Ganze ab: - Die Teilnehmer:innen müssen zwischen 14-18 Jahre alt sein und sich auf der Website von YH4F registrieren [1]. - Die Eröffnung des Wettbewerbs findet am 10. Oktober 2021 statt. - Bis zum Sonntag, den 31 Oktober 2021 ist es möglich, sich anzumelden. - Auf die Gewinner:innen des Wettbewerbs warten Geldpreise (2 x 4.096€, 2 x 2.048€, 2 x 1.024€) und eine Fahrt nach Brüssel. - Der Wettbewerb findet online statt. Die feierliche Überreichung der Preise ist dann in Brüssel.

Der Aufruf richtet sich explizit auch an Mädchen! Jungen, Mädchen und ganz allgemein, junge Menschen aller Geschlechter sind aufgefordert, sich an dem Wettbewerb zu beteiligen. Es wird eine inklusive Umgebung geschaffen.
