Der Prototype Fund (ein Förderprogramm für Public Interest Tech des BMBF in Kooperation mit der Open Knowledge Foundation Deutschland, prototypefund.de http://prototypefund.de/) hat im Februar den 6. Call for Applications gestartet.
Wir fördern kleine (interdisziplinäre) Teams und Einzel-Entwickler*innen, die 6 Monate lang an gemeinnützigen Open-Source-Software-Projekten arbeiten wollen, mit bis zu 47.500€.
Unter dem Motto “Commit – System erneuern” (https://prototypefund.de/unser-themenschwerpunkt-fuer-runde-6-commit-system-...) https://prototypefund.de/unser-themenschwerpunkt-fuer-runde-6-commit-system-erneuern/ konzentriert sich die Ausschreibung diesmal thematisch auf Nachhaltigkeit auf allen Bedeutungsebenen, wie z.B. die Potenziale von Technologien für den Klimaschutz, aber auch das langfristige und resiliente Aufstellen von Communities. Wir gehen den Dingen auf den Grund, bauen Fundamente, untersuchen Ressourceneffizienz und Skalierungseffekte, um Welt und Umwelt langfristig mitgestalten zu können; fördern aber auch weitere Projekte aus den Bereichen Civic Tech, Data Literacy, Infrastruktur und Datensicherheit.

Hallo!
Gerade läuft die 6. Bewerbungsrunde des Prototype Funds (einem Förderprogramm für Public Interest Tech des BMBF in Kooperation mit der Open Knowledge Foundation Deutschland, prototypefund.de) und wir freuen uns auf eure Einreichungen, Ideen und Projekte.
Wir konzentrieren uns unter dem Motto “Commit – System erneuern” dieses Mal thematisch auf Nachhaltigkeit auf allen Bedeutungsebenen, wie z.B. die Potenziale von Technologien für den Klimaschutz, aber auch das langfristige und resiliente Aufstellen von Communities. Wir gehen den Dingen auf den Grund, bauen Fundamente, untersuchen Ressourceneffizienz und Skalierungseffekte, um Welt und Umwelt langfristig mitgestalten zu können. Wir fördern aber auch weitere Projekte aus den Bereichen Civic Tech, Data Literacy, Infrastruktur und Datensicherheit.
Wichtige Fragen, die wir im Rahmen der aktuellen Ausschreibung beantworten wollen sind:
Wie kann Technologie zu Nachhaltigkeit beitragen und diese fördern? Welche Chancen stecken in digitalen Anwendungen für Klima- und Ressourcenschutz? Welche digitalen Werkzeuge können beim Aufbau starker, handlungsfähiger Communities und langfristiger Projekte helfen? Welche Strukturen braucht es, um das Wachstum und Teilen von Wissen – der einen nicht endlichen Ressource, die wir besitzen – nachhaltig zu fördern und es den Communities zugänglich zu machen, die es für ihre Arbeit benötigen?
