Die Seite hat mich ein wenig an die Pinguin-mit-Elefantenrüssel-Werbung von Microsoft erinnert. In wie weit das aber wirklich FUD ist oder berechtigt, kann ich nicht nicht sagen.

Ich würde darauf tippen, daß dahinter Leute aus der Tryton [0] community stehen, die sich darüber ärgern, daß OpenERP mehr Umsatz macht - mit gutem Marketing aber zweifelhafter technischer Umsetzung.
Zumindest der grundsätzlich schlechte Eindruck ist mir von Anwendern persönlich bestätigt worden. Ein Kenner unfreier ERP Software meinte, OpenERP hat das in der Branche übliche business model.

Wir sehen dieses Problem allerdings häufiger, Unternehmen werben mit Freie Software, gehen aber so weit es geht an die Grenze und möchten am liebsten sicherstellen, dass die Freiheit selbst nicht genutzt werden. Die Lizenz der Webversion von OpenERP hat das in der Vergangenheit deutlich gezeigt, es war keine Freie Software.
Und ja, das ärgert mich bei jedem Produkt, wenn es eine Mogelpackung ist. Wir als Freie Software Gemeinschaft müssen da besonders aufpassen, ansonsten erhalten die Leute nur Schrott unter dem Stichwort und glauben, das sei bei Freier Software halt so.
Im Falle von Openerp könnten sich beispielsweise auch die ADempiere Leute über die Mogelpackung geärgert haben. Damals hatte CompPiere Inc das gleichnamige Produkt auch recht proprietär gefahren, obwohl es unter einer FS Lizenz stand. Die ADempiere Leute haben sich abgespalten.

Also einen seriösen Eindruck scheinen die Betreiber von SorryOpenERP nicht machen zu wollen. Auch sagt die Seite nicht, wer dahinter steckt (oder ich habe es übersehen).
Der Code liegt aber auf github. An der Webseite mitgearbeitet haben bisher folgende Nutzerkonten:

Ohne detaillierte Informationen kann ich das nicht bewerten. Es gibt OpenERP Komponenten, welche in der Vergangenheit Freie Software waren und es vermutlich noch sind. Zudem hat sich die Lizenz des Webklienten auch wieder geändert, von manchen habe ich gehört, dass es wieder Freie Software sei.
Die Meldung selbst begründet den Erfolg vor Allem mit Konsolidierung, einige der Module werden auf jeden Fall selbst entwickelt worden sein. Je nachdem, welcher Dienstleister das war und wie er die Projekte abgewickelt hat, kann das durchaus ein großer Erfolg für Freie Software sein oder auch nicht.

Einen Erfolg scheint es auf jeden Fall zu geben: Der Wert Freier Software wird beworben und es hat einen großen Schritt in die Richtung gegeben. Das ist auf jeden Fall eine Meldung und auch eine Erfolgsmeldung wert. Um sie in allen Aspekten zu lobpreisen, fehlen Dir sicherlich auch die Detailinfos.
