...war, glaub' ich, hier schon 'mal gepostet, aber da dort die Zeit wohl etwas drängt, nochmal:
Anfang März findet an der TU Chemnitz wiedermal ein Linux-Tag statt, wie die letzten Jahre auch. Es ist mittlerweile die 5. Veranstaltung dieser Art, und in den letzten Jahren waren doch recht ordentliche Besucherzahlen zu verzeichnen gewesen. Da's irgendwie dann schon traurig ist, dort in den letzten Jahren auch immer mehr Firmen gesehen zu haben, die proprietäre Softwarelösungen auf GNU/Linux-Basis präsentieren und auch um keine Argumente für die Proprietarisierung ihrer Software verlegen sind, und im Gegenzug mit einem eher kleinen Debian-Stand nur einen Bereich im Rahmen der Aussteller zu erleben, bei dem die "Freiheit" der Software herausgestrichen wird. Da's in einem Zeitalter, in dem wir über Softwarepatente und TCPA diskutieren, eigentlich auch in dieser Hinsicht genug darstellenswerten Stoff gäbe, wär's interessant, wenn die FSFE dort in irgendeiner Weise präsent sein könnte. Es sieht so aus, als finden wir einen Redner aus unserem Umkreis. Das Büro sollte Material für einen kleinen Stand liefern können, wenn jemand den betreut.

Wirklich viel ist es nicht. Es muss nur zuverlässig erledigt werden.
Standpersonal für die ganze Zeit (mindestens 1.5 Personen, da jeder mal austreten muss.) Material anfordern eventuell Verkaufen Übriggebliebenes zurückschicken Basis-Informationen kennen Auf- und Abbau erledigen

Es wäre wichtig zu wissen, wieviel Platz dort für einen Stand zur Verfügung steht und in welchem Format dieser sein wird. Ist für die Veranstaltung ein prof. Messebau geplant? Wenn nein, müssen wir den Großteil selbst machen. D. h. Mehrere Tische und Stühle besorgen. Gut wäre auch eine Wand im Hintergrund, die mit Plakaten, T-Shirts, usw. behängt werden kann. Wenn prof. Messebau vorhanden, muß das Standlayout und Größe mit diesem geklärt werden.
Wichtig ist auch Strom, für einen evtl. PC den man für kleinere Präsentationen am Stand platzieren kann. Zusätzlich wäre ein Internet- anschluß für den Stand selbst nicht schlecht. Evtl. noch ein Mini-Hub für zusätzliche Laptops, etc. je nachdem wer kommt, und einen Internetzugang zum Emailcheck usw. benötigt.
Schließlich, wie Bernhard schon geschrieben hat, sollte Material im FSF Europe Büro (in Essen) angefordert werden. Dabei handelt es sich um Broschüren, T-Shirts, Pins und Plakate. Die Broschüren werden den Besuchern mitgegeben, T-Shirts und Pins werden verkauft und die Plakate sind zur Stand-Dekoration gedacht. Auf einer Veranstaltung sind uns schon T-Shirts gestohlen worden. Aus diesem Grund ist eine Möglichkeit die T-Shirts über Nacht wegschließen zu können notwendig!
Besonders die Zeiten für den Aufbau sollte man je nach Größe nicht unterschätzen.
Hoffe das hilft ein bischen weiter.

Die Plakate sind größer als DIN A3. Ich weiß die genauen Maße nicht, aber ungefähr dürfte das Logo-Plakat 110x80cm und die beiden anderen 90x90cm sein. Ich denke das größere Logo-Plakat sollte man in jedem Fall aufhängen. Die Plakate sind aus einer Art Kunststoff. D. h. sie lassen sich ganz gut mit Hilfe eines Klettverschlusses an einer Wand befestigen.

Du mußt keinen Laptop stellen. Damit wollte ich nur sagen, dass evtl. ein kleiner Hub da sein sollte, wo man sich mit dem eigenen Laptop dranhängen kann. Ist aber kein muß.

Es gibt Mail-Umstellungsprobleme. Einmal gehen wir auf Mailman 2.1 zum anderen lösten die GNU Domänen eine Zeit lang nicht richtig auf.
Die Admins sind dran.

Ich wäre im übrigen immer noch bereit, einen Primary MX mit statischer IP-Adresse zu spendieren.
Dies gegenwärtige Konfiguration mit dynamischen IP-Adressen ist riskant, was Zuverlässigkeit und Vertraulichkeit von Mail angeht.

Wie genau würdest Du das denn spendieren? Das Problem ist immer, wenn man selber keinen Administrativen zugriff hat...

Plakate, wir wissen nicht was das Büro in petto hat, wir empfehlen aber die guten FSF Europa Plakate der LUG-WHV. :)) Asche auf mein Haupt, ich wollte eigendlich schon zu Weihnachten einen Satz FSF Europa Plakate bis A0 ans Büro geschickt haben. Ralf Janssen von der LUG arbeitet bei einer Firma die das Call Center für alle HP Plotter und HP Vectras in Europa betreibt. Er hat Heiligabend noch einen Plotter Testlauf organisiert. Und wir haben uns gedacht, warum immer nur die langweiligen Siemens-Sterne Plotten wenn man auch FSF Euroa Plakate plotten kann. Die Supporter sind immer ganz Happy wenn sie mal ein PDF mit 2400 DPI plotten dürfen. *grins*
Ich kümmere mich in der nächsten Woche drum,. Oder soll ich sie in der Woche vor dem 1.März nach Chemnitz schicken? Sag mir welche grössen du gebrauchen kannst, den Rest schicke ich dann nach Volker für die FOSDEM.

Von den A0-Plakaten hätte ich gern eines. Die CLUG hat Aufsteller Format A0, von denen wir zumindest einen sicher bekommen können, insofern würd' ich uns gern weithin sichtbar machen. :) Wie sieht's mit Papieren Format A4 aus - was gibt's dort an Zeugs zum Aufhängen, was verteilt man sinnvollerweise?

Wir machen für alle Teilnehmer dann ein kurzes Coaching zum Thema Messetaktiken. Ich habe beim letzten GNU/LinuxTag einiges von Thomas gelernt und mich auch sonst schlaugemacht.
