Ich find eigentlich die Office Suite ein großes Pro für Windowsmaschinen (oder Apple) im Berufsalltag. LibreOffice überzeugt mich da leider nicht so und auch Outlook's Kalendar / Follow-up und Reminderfunktioneren funktionieren für mich besser als die von Thunderbird...
Genau diese Mentalität ist wohl noch mehr dafür verantwortlich als Korruption bei der Wahl von Software. Die eigenen, objektiv unwichtigen aber subjektiv sehr wichtigen, Gewohnheiten entscheiden, leider nicht nur bei Antje, sondern auch bei wichtigen Entscheidungsträgern.
Der (sehr sehenswerte) Film hat sehr schön solche Menschen gezeigt, welche sich teils gegen besseres Wissen und teils aus Idiotie oder Schleimertum dem Microsoft-System an die Brust werfen.
Bei den reinen Usern dürfte es eher so sein, dass viele zwar theoretisch Bescheid wissen, nicht nur über Microsoft, sondern auch über die anderen gefährlichen Quasimonopolisten, aber die Tragweite ihres eigenen (Fehl)verhaltens nicht realisieren, wenn sie aus Faulheit ("Ich habe jetzt keine Zeit mich darum zu kümmern") den (z.B. Windows- oder MS-Office-)Status Quo beibehalten.
Mir geht es leider auch so: Ich habe kürzlich einen gebrauchten Tablett-PC gekauft mit Android drauf. Bis auf wenige Sachen läuft der so gut, dass ich einfach keine Lust habe, auf Lineage oder so (und schon gar nicht auf eine "richtiges" OS) zu wechseln, und es wenigstens vorläufig beim Verwenden von F-Droid statt Google Play als Repository belasse.
Was der Film nicht thematisierte: was ist nun die gefährlichere Suchmaschine: Google oder Microsoft's Bing, ob direkt oder über eine anonymisierende Zwischenschicht?
