Gerade hier habe ich gute Erfahrungen mit Conversations gemacht. Zumindest in meinem Umfeld außerhalb der Free-Software-Community ist die Hemmschwelle einen weiteren Messenger zu installieren sehr gering. Früher als die meisten meiner Freunde hauptsächlich am Desktop-PC gearbeitet haben, wollte jeder einen Messenger, mit dem er alle Freunde erreichen kann, nicht mehrere. Auf Handys ist das aber offenbar etwas anders oder eventuell sind es die Leute schon gewohnt, dass manch einer Threema oder so einsetzt und dann macht Conversations auch kein Problem mehr. Für mich ist das immer eine Gelegenheit, dann auch F-Droid auf die Telefone zu bringen, aber viele nehmen auch die Bezahloption über Google Play und oft auch den kostenpflichtigen Account über Conversations. Das freut die Entwicker sicher auch. :-)
