In unserer Behörde läuft auch gerade ein Programm an bei dem alle Beschäftigten ein privates MS Office-Paket zu stark reduziertem Preis erwerben können. Mir viel da auch sofort das sensible Thema "Vorteilsnahme im Amt" ein... Ein Kollege hat mich in der Sache angesprochen und zählte so die "Vorteile" dieses Programmes auf (ohne einen blassen Schimmer von irgendwelchen Konsequenzen oder Zusammenhängen zu haben).
- Die Benutzer bekommen eine tolle Software quasi geschenkt (Der Schnäppchenjägereffekt wurde ja schon in diesem Thread erwähnt) - Die Behörde spart sich Schulungen, da ja jeder zu Hause die gleiche Software einsetzt und dort übt. (Auch ein beliebtes Argument wenn es um Kostenfaktoren in Konzeptpapieren geht) - Man kann sich ja dann Dokumente problemlos nach Hause schicken und dort weiter daran arbeiten. (sonst ja quasi unmöglich ;) ausserdem laut Sicherheitsrichtlinie bei uns verboten) - Wirklich nett von MS (*grins*)
Das sind so die üblichen Aussagen die man immer wieder hört. Die Systematik dahinter ist mir klar, allerdings bin ich zuviel Techniker und zu wenig Psychologe um eine Lösung zu erkennen. Die Wertigkeit eines Produktes wird halt zu oft nur am Preis ermittelt. Evtl. wäre es mal einen Versuch wert LibreOffice für 150,- € zu verkaufen, natürlich hat der Kunde die Wahl zwischen pro Gerät oder pro User ;) In einer älteren Ausgabe der Zeitschrift Channelpartner stand mal ne schöne kleine Geschichte über eine Software zur Optimierung von SAP-Datenbanken. Wohl ein gutes Produkt zu einem günstigen Preis aber ein Ladenhüter. Einen Kunden mal darauf angesprochen sagte er, die Software sei sicher nicht schlecht, aber er und seine Kollegen hätten Bauchschmerzen ein Tool für paar Mark fuffzig auf die DB loszulassen die in direktem Zusammenhang mit der Firmenexistenz zu sehen ist. Darauf wurde V2.0 entwickelt. Entwickelt meint hier, die Versionsnummer wurde geändert und der Preis vervielfacht. Siehe da, der Verkauf rollte an.
