Dass man diesen Mechanismus durch bestimmte Software leicht umgehen kann, macht die Sache - politisch gesehen - nicht besser. Im Gegenteil: Ich finde es traurig, dass der erste Tipp ist, sich mit der DRM-verseuchten Platform technisch zu arrangieren.
Ich rate stattdessen dazu, diese Platform einfach links liegen zu lassen und sich direkt zu der Quelle zu begeben, die das Video offiziell bereit stellt:
Warum verlinkt die FSFE nicht dorthin? Oder zumindest auf irgendeine andere Streaming-Platform, die auch DRM-freies Streaming (bzw. Download) anbietet?
Ach ja, und besonders ironisch finde ich, dass sich das Video inhaltlich gegen Trusted Computing und damit gegen DRM ausspricht. Gerade bei _da_ sollte man nun wirklich nicht auf eine DRM-Version dieses Videos verlinken. Denn das strahlt aus, dass die Verwendung solcher Platformen okay sei, was genau das Gegenteil dessen ist, was man den Leuten mit diesem Video eigentlich klar machen will.
Ich muss hier irgendwie an die berühmte umstrittene Aussage von Padeluun denken, der sagte, Freie Software sei total unterstützenswert, aber er selbst benutze doch lieber Windows.
