-Und heute funktioniert das "Abkommen" mit den langen Laufzeiten eben nicht -mehr. Deswegen plädiert er für drastisch kürzere Laufzeiten (Filme 20 J., -Bücher 10 J, Software 3 J.). Da ist der Unterschied zu mir (0 Jahre) -nicht mehr so groß. Ich bin halt der Meinung, dass der Zweck für den -Einzelnen und der Progress für alle viel besser ohne Copyright erreicht -werden kann. Das ist ja gerade der subversive Sinn und die Wirkung der -GPL (basiert auf dem Copyright, setzt seinen "Sinn" ausser Kraft).
Copyleft funktioniert nur, weil es das Urheberrecht gibt und ohne Urheberrecht auch keine Freie Software:
Wenn ein freies Programm von Unternehmen X weiterentwickelt wird (z.B. in einer Art und Weise die für alle von Bedeutung ist) und X dann den Sourcecode nicht zur Verfügung stellt, ermöglicht die GPL, X zur Offenlegung des Sourcecodes zu zwingen - eben weil sich Copyleft des Urheberrechts bedient. Ansonsten bestünde keine Möglichkeit, die Freiheit durchzusetzen. Es ist nicht so (auch nach den herkömmlichen Urheberrechtstheorien), dass das Urheberrecht lediglich zur Erzielung von Einnahmen dient. Sinn und Zweck der GPL ist es, die urheberrechtlichen Befugnisse in anderer Weise als meist üblich zu benutzen, nämlich zur der Freiheit. Es macht m.E. keinen Sinn das Kinde mit dem Bade auszuschütten, nur weil es Kritikpunkte an dem gegenwärtigen Urheberrechtssystem gibt.
