Welcher Fehlschlag? MeeGo ist einfach noch nicht fertig -- was Anderes hat meines Wissens Niemand behauptet, einschließlich Elop selbst.
Nokia hat eine zeitlang drauf gesetzt, nichts aus der Tür bekommen, dann aber das Geld wieder von der Option genommen. Das werden die meisten als Fehlschlag interpretieren.
b) Vernünftige Telefone und Wettbewerb mit Freier Software ist in weitere Ferne gerückt.
Warum sollte das mit Android nicht gehen?...
Das ist nur ein System. Dazu möchte ich ja Wettbewerb haben. Viele Anbieter scheinen die Telefone trotzdem zuzunageln und die Android Entwicklungs-Gemeinschaft ist geschlossener als MeeGo und stark von Google bestimmt.
Ich bin übrigens auch nicht überzeugt, dass "weite Ferne" für GNU/Linux-basierte Smartphones zutrifft. Samsung scheint in den Startlöchern zu stehen... (Auch wenn deren Platform zugegebener Maßen nicht so offen wie MeeGo scheint, sondern eher was halbproprietäres wie Maemo :-( )
Du meinst sicher http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bada_(Betriebssystem) es wirkt lange nicht so groß und offen, wie MeeGo. Wär trotzdem gut, wenn es größer wäre. Auch MeeGo ist noch im Rennen, zum Beispiel auf Intel Medfield Plattformen und kommenden Smartphones damit.
