It is now too late to apply for a funded position in GSoC 2016.
You are still very welcome to participate in any of the projects as a volunteer or mentor. Please tell us more about your strengths (e.g. Java or C++ or something else?) and links to any existing work you have on Github, your blog, etc.
Regards,
Daniel
Hi Thank you for your reply
I am fine with volunteering /mentoring I have experience in C,C++ and python at average level ,also some experience in JavaScript (nodejs) My github profile is www.github.com/vmohammedibrahim as such I haven't put any considerable work on github. I can provide support with intermediate level projects if anyone needs help :) On 24 Apr 2016 10:33 p.m., "Daniel Pocock" daniel@pocock.pro wrote:

It looks like Keerthana and Balram are near you:
https://wiki.debian.org/SummerOfCode2016/RTCProjects
Would you be interested in helping with the Live CD[1] we've been discussing on debian-devel[2] and gnupg-users[3] recently?
It aims to make PGP more accessible so more people can use it, that helps developers use it to secure our code and it should also help more users to use PGP for securing their communications.
