1.       The four comments on the document were included by me to explain some of the changes made with regards to everyone’s input, and to ask for OFE’s feedback in a piece of their work. Sivan already answered to that and said it is ok, so there is no further issue to address and I’m going to erase the comments.

Still, as I said in the previous mail, if anyone has any further remark/feedback, please let us know.

 

2.       The decision to produce contents for module 1 and 2 in advance was taken under certain conditions, which unfortunately at this stage have not been met. I want to be clear on that, we are not putting blame on anyone by no means. The time you are taking for putting together guidelines and templates is perfectly reasonable and indicative of the complexity  and delicacy of the task (O2 is going to be the core deliverable of our project, so it makes sense to focus on that).

This is not extending the deadline for 2 extra months. This is aligning the deadline with the one set for everyone else, as we find stated in the working plan of the MCE (version 9, I assume this is the latest and most updated), where we see at pag. 16 that the deadline is set at 11.2018 for every partner. It would just not make sense, at this stage, to develop contents in roughly more than a week when we have four months ahead of us before the end of O2/A1 (as stated in the Gantt chart), especially given our secondary role in the activity, as stated in the proposal.

If  you and OFE want to go along with the August deadline, this is absolutely fine for us. We and OFE are going to work on different sub-units, the first two  of Unit 2, so this won’t affect their work.

In any case, we are more than available to coordinate with Sivan and Sachiko on that.

thank you for your remarks in our minutes. Let me quickly respond to this:

1. I have personally added this particular sentence, because the O1/A2 document includes a lot of comments and it would be better if I upload it to the Mobility tool without any comments in a nice final version. If you have no further changes to make, the Peer Reviewers can take this over and proceed to the Peer Review of O1 along with the rest of the deliverables.

 

2. This activity has started according to the MCE Plan and as you heard in our telco me, Brian and other partners are already working on O2/A1 by searching for content or by structuring the guidelines. Dlearn can also start preparing the content of M.2 by finding the relevant sources etc. The guidelines will be provided in the coming days and we are very sorry for this delay. If you are not able to meet the agreed deadline, please contact OFE and check if they can start working on some issues first, so that you can continue later. Extending the agreed deadline for 2 extra months sounds like too much extra time asked to me. If OFE is also unable to meet the agreed timeline, I would like to discuss this with you in a separate call.

Hello,

I have a couple remarks about:

 

-          In point 5 Deliverable O1/A2 ECVET FOSS BU Profile, the first indication is to ‘leave it as it is’, but then it closes up by saying that Dlearn should ‘finalise the document asap and provide it for review’.

Given that we already did a first update of the document following Katerina’s indications, could you please clarify which steps should we take to finalise the document? As I said during the telco, please everyone let us know if you have any suggestions or remarks and we will adjust the document accordingly. Otherwise, it is to be considered finalized from our part.

 

-          In June, we agreed to develop in advance contents for modules 1 and 2, setting the deadline at 31.08. However, we are now at the end of July and still this activity has not started. Given that we as Dlearn are going to be on our summer leave for most of August (as indicated in the shared document about partners’ absence), we see no other option at this stage than moving our deadline to 30.11.2018, as  for all the other partners. Delivering contents in roughly a week would not cater for the quality of work.
