I'm also concerned that we keep slipping. Having announced our intentions at the Ministerial conf on friday in Lisbon ("in the coming weeks"!!!!). I see it slightly differently only in whats outstanding. what makes a slight difference is that since we are now announcing the formal 3 month trial, that gives us a little more time to finalise some (but not all) of the detail. I think we have to have for 'launch' 1. A working website - from which companies can find info and make applications. 2. The dynamic application process - since weneed to be trialling this as much as the questions/scoring. 3. All the docn complete. 4. The core, legal, and governance in place 5. Sign Up plan - pre and post launch 6. Launch plan inc sufficient quotes of support.
Taking each in turn. 1 Website - needs refreshing, particularly with words/descriptions. Sugggest GT and SC review and conf call with Rod to update. First call by end this week, complete by 5 Oct? 2. Application Process. Rod is in Italy today/tomorrow with Reflab ( hopefully to resolve the issues/communication gaps) so I hope he will be able to have a definite completion date in which we have confidence in. Rod to report back asap. 3.The princ of Op still needs updating Shane/bob and Rod have updated the T+Cs but we need to update the words, and include a section describing trial prcoess inc the MOU drafted by Georg. 4. Legal/Governance. On legal the two areas I am aware of outstanding is bank account (Bob - status?), and liability Insurance. On latter I know Bob needs final copy of Op Principles (above). On Governance I suggest one outstanding item is to establish the CO Council , and at least have first names agreed. can we dust off the previous list of suggested names and review who still appropriate, and prioritise. 5. Sign Ups. As soon as we have above we should start pre announcing, both to sign up local/national partners, first user, suppliers and gain enough quotes for a critical mass. for the launch. we then need a longer list of target contacts and programme who will approach. 6. Launch Plan. When, where, how , who to? The original plan was Brussels but time has moved on and we have made a number of early announcements. we now need to go hard.To me it looks like we should target w/b 22nd or 29th October? Do we need a press launch ( as in press conference ), do we do a 'paper' launch with target journalists/interviews, or can we use an existing event? Georg suggested the IGF ( in Rio?). My personal thoughts but comments are we go for a paper lauunch, backed up by a small number of target interviews, backed up events like Rio. One of these could be a Briefing in Brussels the evening of 7th November ( IDABC Pegsco meeting is on the 8th). Thoughts? Suggest we have a conf call to discuss and agree. when is good for everyone?
